Ingredients & Allergens

Hello!

On this page you'll find detailed information about the ingredients and allergens in my cakes. The safety of my customers is extremely important to me and I take great care in the preparation of every order - all made to vegan recipes. However I must stress that operating from my home kitchen, where all allergens may be handled, means VeCakes is NOT an allergen-free kitchen and therefore I cannot guarantee that my cakes are free from ingredients that are unsafe for allergy sufferers. In addition, some of the ingredients below may be manufactured in facilities which handle allergens. 

Any allergies must be declared at the time of placing your order. Never assume allergens won't be present in a particular cake or icing or topping. Please feel free to check with me if you are unsure after reading below. Please also note, food colourings are used in the decoration of all cakes unless natural buttercream is requested. Vanilla Cake:

Pistachio Buttercream

Natural flavouring, propylene glycol (E1520) – may contain NUTS.


 

FOOD COLOURINGS & SPRINKLES

There will be food colour additives in the buttercream unless natural buttercream is requested. View a list of the ingredients in food colourings and sprinkles used on a regular basis. 

Wilton food colourings are made in a facility that also processes PEANUTS, TREE NUTS, FISH, SHELLFISH, MILK, SOY and WHEAT products.
